Special Properties of Hastelloy
Hastelloy is a kind of nickel-based alloy, currently divided into three series of B, C, G, it is mainly used for strong corrosion of iron-based Cr-Ni or Cr-Ni-Mo stainless steel, non-metallic materials, etc. Sexual media occasions have been widely used abroad in petroleum, chemical, environmental protection and many other fields.
In Hastelloy machining, the mechanical properties are very prominent. It has the characteristics of high strength and high toughness, so it has certain difficulties in machining, and its strain hardening tendency is extremely strong. When the deformation rate reaches 15%, it is about 18 -8 times of stainless steel. Hastelloy also has a medium temperature sensitization zone, and its sensitization tendency increases with the increase of the deformation rate. When the temperature is higher, Hastelloy easily absorbs harmful elements, which reduces its mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.
